Keeps a freelancer's client hours from the Google Calendar every morning. Lays out the week, counts hours per client this week and this month, and helps before and after every client meeting.
Calendar for Freelancers
Your hours with each client, from your Google Calendar. It counts the time you spent with every client this week and this month, helps you before and after each client meeting, and shows when you are free for new work. It reads your calendar every morning at 7.
The cabinet opens on it: Your hours.
What you get
- Hours: each client's hours this week and this month, with the total. No timer to start: your calendar already knows.
- Today: the meeting on now, the next one with a live countdown, and the rest of the day.
- Before and after: meetings to prepare for and follow-ups to send.
- Send my free times: your open times this week as a message for a client, ready to copy.
- Clients going quiet: clients you have not met in a while, with a check-in ready.
- This week: your seven days. Personal events show only as "Busy".
On the 1st of every month it writes last month's hours list, one section per client with every meeting and its length, ready to copy into your invoices.
- Add to your calendar: fill in a new event, or tell the agent in your own words what to add or move. A new event waits for your press on its card in the chat; a move or a delete waits for your yes.
Press Edit layout to add, remove, move and resize the boxes. Your layout is yours.
For a business with a team, use Calendar for Business. For your own life, use Calendar for Personal.
Getting started
- On the page, press Connect Google Calendar. You do it once.
- A minute later your own week is there. It updates every morning at 7.
Until then, the page shows a made-up week, and says so.
It only reads, unless you ask
The morning update never adds, moves or deletes anything, and never sends anything. If you ask in the chat to move an event, it says exactly what will change and waits for your yes.
Inside
- Your hours: the app this cabinet opens on.
- People: one page per client, kept up to date every morning.
- Reports: the monthly hours lists, and the lists you ask for.
