OneDrive for Business

A file room for your work OneDrive. Every morning at 7 it reads your OneDrive and shows:

• Waiting on you: comments in your Word, Excel and PowerPoint files that ask you something, with an answer already drafted.
• New from others: the files clients and your team shared with you, the ones from outside your company marked.
• Which is the latest: when a file comes in v2, final and "Copy of", which one is current.
• Client folders: when each client's folder last changed, and which ones went quiet.

On Mondays it checks what is open to anyone with the link, the private files first. On the 1st of the month it reads your contracts and lists the dates in them: when each one ends, renews, or needs notice.

Then you can just ask. "Where is the signed Lakeview agreement?" "What did we quote Hartley Dental?" The answer names the file and what it says.

To start

Open the File room and press Connect OneDrive. You sign in with Microsoft, once. Until then the file room shows a made-up business, clearly marked.

For now OneDrive works in the Cabinet app on your computer.

It only reads

Your file room never changes, moves, shares or deletes a file in OneDrive. When something needs fixing (a link open to anyone, a comment to answer), it shows you where, and you do it in OneDrive.

• Reports: one page per morning, the Monday sharing check, the monthly contract dates, and the lists you ask for, like every contract and its end date.
