Reads the person's work Outlook mail and calendar every weekday morning and lays out the workday, the meetings with what to know before each, who waits on them, what they promised, and the replies that fit between meetings.

Outlook for Work

Your workday from Outlook on one board, every weekday at 7:

  • The board: today's meetings like a departures board, with the one that is on now, the next one and when it starts, and a Join button for Teams.
  • Before your meetings: the one thing to know before each meeting, taken from your mail ("Ravi sent the forecast last night").
  • Waiting on you: everyone who waits for your answer, your manager and your team first, each with a reply drafted in your voice.
  • Your day: the free stretches between meetings, and which replies fit in each.
  • You promised: what you told people you would do, and by when.
  • Invites to answer: meetings you have not said yes or no to.

Newsletters, alerts and all-company mail are set aside and counted, never deleted.

To start

Open My workday and press Connect Outlook. Sign in with Microsoft, with your work account. Connect Outlook Calendar too and your meetings join the board. Until then the page shows a made-up workday, clearly marked.

For now Outlook works in the Cabinet app on your computer.

Make it yours

  • Ideas: one tap for things like a weekly status update for your manager, or getting ready for your next meeting. Any idea can also run by itself on a schedule.
  • Layout: add, remove, move and resize the boxes, or tell the agent what you need and it suggests the boxes.
  • Ask: anything about your mail and calendar, in plain words.

It only reads

It never sends, moves or deletes anything in Outlook. When you want a reply written, it goes into your Outlook Drafts, and you send it yourself.

Inside

  • My workday: the app this cabinet opens on, and what you told it about your work.
  • Reports: one page per morning.
