WhatsApp Catch-Up

Your WhatsApp chats with customers, the way you know them from WhatsApp, with the business part pulled out: who is waiting for an answer and for how long, the quotes and appointments agreed in each chat, and what you promised.

Open the cabinet and your chats are there. Chats waiting for you are marked, and the Waiting for you filter shows only those. Open one and a reply is already drafted under it by Chat Keeper. Change it if you like, then press Send. Nothing is sent until you press it.

Getting started

1. Press Connect WhatsApp and scan the code with your phone, the way you would for WhatsApp Web.
2. Pick the chats this cabinet may read: your customers and suppliers. Only those are saved here, in whatsapp.
3. Choose Reply after you say OK so you can send from Cabinet.
4. Press Catch me up now, or wait for the morning: every day at 7:30 Chat Keeper reads what changed and drafts a reply for everyone waiting.

Ideas to try

Press Ideas for things to ask once or to switch on every week, for example "List every customer who asked for a quote", "Customers I haven't answered in 24 hours" and "Build my customer list from my chats".

Good to know

• WhatsApp doesn't officially support linking Cabinet this way, so keep it to your own chats. Lots of automatic messages can get a number blocked. Cabinet isn't responsible if that happens. Cabinet never sends on its own here: only your Send does.
• WhatsApp links to Cabinet on your computer. It can't be linked from Cabinet in the cloud.
• The people in the chats you pick are not told that Cabinet reads them.
• Tell Chat Keeper what matters and what to skip ("from now on, skip the family group"), and it keeps that in whatsapp, on the page called "What counts, and what to skip".
